***SOLD*** 1970 Fiber Fab Valkyrie ****SOLD****

Nov 2018 I had the opportunity to buy a 1970 Fiber Fab Valkyrie kit car (inspired by the Ford GT-40) but life has taken a change and my loss is going to be your gain! The Valkyrie is a mid engine V-8 with a Fiber Fab made robust chassis equipped with a corvair suspension. It was never built and...

Awesome! I KNOW I'm going to need to source a windshield. The one on mine's cracked :-(

Well in an interesting twist.... I've decided to sell that Valkyrie as I've acquired a Manta Mirage (the car I've always wanted).

    Boxster S v Cayman S 6 speed

Correct! And that is why I'm interested in the Boxster/Cayman trans axle. I will however be using the 928 suspension.

Wow Neil! That's a blast from the past :-) I do track days and FATS there all the time. Also tech inspector for SCCA :-) It's 20 min from me!

No I think it's got some other designation. And it's way way too long. The axle outputs are like a mile away from the bellhousing, and besides 2nd and 4th synchro's are shot on this one Edit, opps. You the said the CV's. That could be correct!

I'm over in the Eastern Panhandle very close to Summit Point Motor Park (where my lil sbc 914 regularly pisses off the PCCA members ;-) )

    Boxster S v Cayman S 6 speed

So while I understand both boxes are the same, I heard the Cayman box is geared higher. Is this true? Also, I wonder if the output flanges are the same as used on the 928 stubs? I'm swapping over my entire (front and rear) 928 donor suspension (thus taking advantage of the Weissach axle...

Your thinking of the Fiber Fab "Avenger" which is VW. The Valkyrie (mine) was box framed and made for a mid engine v-8 :-) I got it with an LT1 engine already in it (no trans axle) for $2700 US. I'm in very right :-)

Hi, I'm new on the forum. I just acquired a 1970 Fiber Fab Valkyrie (GT-40 clone) and I also have a 1973 914 widebody sbc track car. Being a Valkyrie owner, is that a no no here or are we good?
