    With all due respect, a Sbarro built GT40 is simply a replica. Calling it an original Sbarro is an interesting qualification. Nice car for circuit driving but it will never be allowed in any historic class. The tub looks like brand new to me..........

    It seems the last Mk IV, s/n J10 is for sale. I do not have my books here, but I think I remember that there never was a J10 originally and it was only built on a spare chassis much later (Rod Leach? Holman&Moody?). Can anyone give me the details????

    The Le Mans lap on You Tube is 1062 during first practice. You will see the rev-light come up as the diff was too short and I had to lift off at 7,200 rpm......

    Original GT40s at Classic Le Mans

    Victors, I don´t think the chassis to floor size is much different, it just seems that the bodies are a lot lower......... But that would mean a quite extensive change to the whole car. Don´t have the ride heights here; when I get them from my mechanics I will let you know.

    With the original discs being solid and the speeds we are running, you can never get enough air to the discs. They are effective.
