    Wide Body Rear Clip

For sale, used wide body rear clip. $500. This is off an original car. I'm not going to give the chassis number publically buy may give it to the buyer. I got it from a local restoration shop, I think they were looking at doing the bodywork but decided it would be easier for them to just buy...

    Tracking a SPF

Do an SPF with an aluminum block 302, hydraulic, shoot for 400whp, you don't need any more. This will make the car less tail happy with the lesser weight in the back. It will also keep the drivetrain from breaking. I would go EFI with TWM T'bodies. They are more trouble initially but once dialed...

Making a Cable Gear Shift (UN1)

Rod or cables can both be made to shift very well. Cables are easier to route. Rod you have to build the car around the mechanism. Cables you can route anywhere after the car is built. I used a Toyota shifter with a small cast iron housing and adapted some custom built cables with custom...

    Fel-Pro Gasket Problem

Initially the intake gaskets had a pretty good fit and were closely port matched right out of the box. After about 2000 miles they have drastically shrunk and distorted from their original position. To the point were they actually cracked in 1/2 in 4 places.

roller/ball bearings might be considered a bit much for this application. What does it have now and have you considered bronze bushings?

    Fel-Pro Gasket Problem

Some pics Here's the leakage into the valley Here's the shrinkage on the intake gasket. It pulled inwards so much that it cracked and was leaking at all 4 corners, note the black carbon track. Also note it pushing up against the mounting stud. These gaskets were closely port matched, now...
