    Baby needs some shoes

So I’ve owned the super lite since 2012 and still have original tires. I found out the hard way yesterday why that isn’t a good idea. Hit the breaks and locked into a nice skid/spin. I have Toyo Proxies (track tires) on it now, looking for some feedback on pirelli or Michelin . They have...

    SLC Insurance, registration etc..

I was with Heacock for many years at about 1100 per year. On a whim with my jeep renewal I asked Geico for a quote and they added it to my current policy - 6mo premium is 390 for 300/500 comp and collision with a 2000 deductible

Paint and Body Work on RCR Cars...

Hi Sean: I recently relocated back to San Antonio with my Superlite. I have some body fitment challenges (hanging doors correctly, etc) and need a small repair from some road rash on the trailer. I have talked to several people here but haven't found a shop yet that I am comfortable with. Will...

Anybody using scissor lift to SLC

I ended up with the BendPac SL5000 - slides right under the car and perfectly clears the seat floor panels with 2 mm to spare. Lifts the car an actual 19 inches - was just what I needed to rebuild the fuel system. Home Depot and Costco had them on sale for around $1000 this summer. Thanks for...

LS3 SPEED sensor to Riccardo Transaxle

Has anybody done it? Wondering if it works My car will stall sometimes coming off an exit ramp - was toldit was because the engine doesn't get a speed reading. Under the car today I found the speed connector not too far from the transaxle. Was going to plumb it up and see if it works. Thought I...

Anybody using scissor lift to SLC

I've finally given up on the dream of owning a bendpak lift. Just do not have the space. But it's really hard to maintain this car without being able to get under it from time to time. has anyone had success with a scissor lift - Harbor Freight has one and several others They look tall -...

    Fuel pump preference

No surge - 100U is connected directly to fuel tank - to fuel pump - to regulator - to 10U filter then to fuel rail. That car was built that way so I never really had a reason to mess with it.

    Fuel pump preference

Thanks Cam. That is sort of what is happening here. Car starts and runs fine - sometimes 100 miles no issue - then you will start feeling loss of power like is misfiring. Once you pull over ( and you are going to pull over ), it will start and then die at the slightest touch of throttle. For...

    Fuel pump preference

A side question. Are the multi port fuel rails worth the cost and installation trouble? I have the standard ls3 single port rails. Since I’m in the fuel system was thinking about this upgrade

    Fuel pump preference

After 8 years and 7000 miles the fuel pump has gone tango uniform. Current setup is 100 micron filter directly attached to tank. Cables to fuel pump then to 10 micron filter and fuel rail. Filters are made by aeromotive. Fuel pump brand unknown but looks pretty standard. Motor LS3 Anybody...

Half shafts leaking - Riccardo Transaxle

A follow up Car is running great now. Had one axle shaft rebuilt at the driveshaft shop and with new seals no leaks or drips When I changed the seal on the right side I noticed one of the bolts had sheared as well. The other took hand strength to unscrew Good to have it back on the road...

Half shafts leaking - Riccardo Transaxle

I went ahead and cleaned out both CV boots and repacked with Redline C2 Grease. Was a lot of fun trying to get the ball bearings back in. Ordered the bolts for the wheel CV joint and flange (Thank you Bill). Hopefully have it all buttoned up in a week or so. Thanks again for everyone's advice...
