Awesome car, just need to figure out a windshield wiper, where to store the overnight bag & hang the rear license plate. I'm close to two racetracks and that was my reasoning for the GT40 (along with childhood memories).... but this P carrockonsmile

Re: Transaxel Comparision I think there is probably too much technological info for a lot of us. To me, I'll trust Chris and Wanni when it comes to the strength/design of the transaxles. And I don't think anyone will buy a transaxle without seeing it a GT40. So "how it's going to work"...

I'd like to put this front end on a Mark 2 or Gulf if it didn't look weird (clip fits with doors/windshield etc..). I think the head lights look better than the rectangle..

Thanks Wanni, Sounds a little complicated (and probably too much $$$) for me.... I'm kind of a bolt it up, plug it in, kind of guy. John, I too am planning on leaving the two wheel track days for 4 wheels (takes a little longer to heal in your 50s). That being said... some of us buy the GT40...

I love the modern touches DRB comes up with.. very nice interior

paddle shifters would be a cool update... thats all you see in the top class race cars nowadays... stick shifting is like reaching down on a bike's downtube to shift gears on a road bicycle vs brake lever shifting...
