Well it has been several months since the photographer/writer came and did the article about my car for NZ Classic Car Magazine but it has finally made it into print and onto the shop shelves. I'm really pleased with the photos they used including quite a few from my collection of build progress...

Hi Andy, I was talking to Tom Morrison on Wednesday and he was telling how many castings they had to get out for Hollinger. They did 30 a couple of months back and now have another 35 to do starting next week (he's going to slip your wheel centre's in with that run) they have done a run of...

Hi guys. the trailer is almost finished now, just have to wire the lights and run the brake lines last thing will be the carpet. Put the winch in yesterday and tested it on the door, works well. The cable is run though hooks on the roof and down to the door. once the door is lowered the cable is...

They are wide alright!! wait until you have to put it on a trailer. I have been building one that is 2.1m inside the guards, its doable but only just and you have to have skinny tyre's on it. Cheers Leon

Yes you do seem to be doing a lot of cutting, not to be unexpected as I'm sure there is some suttle differences in our tub measurements. How are you going to do the front bracket? I glassed a tube in each side where the shaft for the front wing pivots on then made arms that come forward like...

I look forward to seeing how you jump this hurdle. Not something I had to worry about with Old School injection and to be honest, Thank goodness because I have NO skill when it comes to electrical wizardry. Cheers Leon

Every time I see this car I'm floored by the craftmanship and detail in this build. I doubt that original cars were built this well. I think my car is built quite well but in reality it is journeyman like in comparison to this. I think not many would argue this is the best build i have seen on...

Hi UDO, I had issues with my Mallory Mag so I stripped the guts out of it and just use the points as a trigger with a MSD unit. I had thought about getting the same as you have for the right look and read up on them to find they are pretty much junk. Could you set up some points in it and do the...

That is a nice set up Ricky looking at the landscape I'm guessing you are in Aussie. My mate where I'm building mine has also built one right beside mine, His will carry his 4x4 and he has also set up to use as a camper. He has hot & cold running water, sink, shower, toilet and fold down beds...

I have put a bench in the front with storage bins under it that slide out like drawers, the tyres will go under them on the floor. the floor will have garage carpet on it. The lower part of the outside panels has alloy checker plate for a bit of stone protection and visual effect.

More work on the trailer, I have made the frame work for the covered in body and started to cover with the ACM panels. this stuff is magic to work with you just score with a Stanley Knife and snap it off, it leaves a perfect break line. We then just glue the frame work and stand it up and clamp...

Hi Andrew, as usual your attention to detail is first class and those wheels do look fantastic. My wheels have run on the dyno and on track now with no issues so I'm sure yours will be that much better. How have you got on with MSNZ and your roll bar homologation? The car is looking amazing and...

Just echoing Michel's praise. This has to be the best build I have seen in terms of quality workmanship and detail along with Andy's M20 build. It shows you the quality of crafts man there is down at the bottom of the world, makes me proud to be from "Down Under" That colour is spot on too...

Yes Jim that is something I have looked at and may still move the end mounts out a bit, its not too big a job at this point.
