    Streetable Eight Stack

I remember reading that type BMW was speed density too. With larger enough ports and central chamber, at low throttle opening, the engine behaves like a common plenum and the throttle syncing becomes less critical.

    Streetable Eight Stack

Wow Terry. If I think I'm seeing what my eyes are telling me, well done. I want to share the virtues of the MS2 hybrid set up. I have a similar situation with the single plenum to get a MAP signal, but the nice thing about the MS2 hybrid is when the MAP drops below 85% of atmospheric...

    Streetable Eight Stack

I dug up some pics of my heavily modded speedmaster I swapped the throttle bodies around so the injectors were in the middle squirting more on the back of the valve, added the 2 plenums because the idle air motor would heavily affect the vacuum reading if the map and IAC were in the same...

    Streetable Eight Stack

Not sure how the other EFI systems handle it, but Megasquirt 2 extra has a hybrid alphN/SD algorithm that uses speed density up to about 85% load then switches to speed density. I heavily modified a speedmaster cheapy 8 stack on a 383 SBC and had it running really well. I had 2 plenums under...

    Need cooling help please

Don't you love that? I once bought a HEAVY home HiFi amplifier. The shipper put it in a box full of peanuts. By the time the package made it through UPS's system, it was a round ball of tape, the peanuts were all pulverized to what looked like fake snow, and every corner of the amp was crushed...

    Sean's RCR GT40 build

I think you're good Sean. Under very low flow, you may have most of the flow through the bottom, but when the pump is moving water, there will be a pressure differential across the core that will cause flow across the whole radiator.

    GT 2006 Please Help!

I've heard of a replica gullwing Mercedes being destroyed in Germany, and at one time (much closer to 2006 than 2024) Lone Star was making a GT40ish kit that was larger and looked to much like a 2005 GT, and they got a cease and desist order.

Top gear with the E brake SHOULD be enough after you get the slop out of the driveline.

Next to my lathe, I have a little 36" lower kitchen type cabinet (all drawers) with a granite top, and I usually have adhesive backed sandpaper stuck to it for this exact purpose.

Did anyone else notice these engines have the same firing order, just a different numbering system and start point?
