Hi Urs, my compliments for the awesome work! Have you calculated how many hours you have put in this project? Did you start with a 3d computermodel, or all in your head!?! How many meters of carbonfibre did you use already? And last but not least, when do you think you wil finish your project...

Well for the design, fran, with a front end engine, maybe i'll do it for free. This would mean less -$....

So would that be interesting to do? A replica of the mclaren version.or a new design. I know a guy that could make you a beautiful design ;-)

You're absolutely right fran. Although there is a package solution that does work with a front engine, the mercedes SLR..... Would be cool to do one like this....

what method is being used to assemble the carbon panels? glue, riveted, other? any pictures of this?

It most probably is, as there were only built 18 of them!

The only big difference is that the SL-C is purely for race, and the others are as well for luxury & design
