Saw it last night ...well worth seeing. Seriously who on this forum wouldn't go to see their favorite cars featured on the big screen in 2019? Been a long, long wait for a great car movie.

Details, details...I will see it at the theatre, large popcorn in hand and surely enjoy it as much as Vanishing Point, Crazy Larry/Dirty Mary when I was a kid!!! It's a car movie dudes!!! And a whole lotta folks will find out what Shelby and GT40 means...good for the hobby.

Looks like low budget , FUN build to me. First thing I'd consider is that I have seen the V8 Tornado versions for sale up here in western Canada for real reasonable running and driving so you may consider one of those if you want to scare yourself...but what you have there looks fun too. King...

Good advice as always, Neil. I'm doing the back end first as it was quite sketchy with the locked out citation spindles, citation brakes and pinch bolt secured ball joint. Not worth bothering adapting halfshafts or brakes to.

The GTM appears to have a pretty close rear suspension layout to stock C5/C6-upper arm pivots level /lower arm pivots @2" higher front than back. Active power upper seems pretty much level upper /lower only a bit higher in the front than rear pivot.

Thx for the input and wise words fellas. Yep I considered many things before I dived into this chassis reconstruction. The manta suspension just looks weak in many areas and has to go.
