    MDA body fitting questions...

Hi Sam, This is probably not providing any help, but maybe some moral support. I also have an MDA (MDA only) bodywork. I can only confirm that the front clip is a bit off. If you manage to achieve a descent fit on one side, the other side will be off by about 20 mm. I would say that the piece...

    Handbrake Caliper

Hi Mark, This might be what you are looking for. The non-mounted caliper is mine and that one is off a Ferrari 360. I'm quite sure this is what MDA used for their factory builds... Cheers, Mattias

    Preferred Distributor - EightStack system

Hi Paul, Like Andrew I picked the MSD-8579. I can confirm that it fits the Eightstack intake manifold. Also like Andrew I haven't run anything yet. My intention is to have a crank trigger for timing and use the 8579 as a "cam position" sensor. Regards, Mattias

    Spinner won't fit

I called Vintagewheels yesterday. It seems as if their response to me got lost in the spam filter. Anyway, I got superb support on the phone and the solution will be new unthreaded spinners that I can machine locally. /Mattias

    Spinner won't fit

Thank you Chris, My numbers are slightly off then. I tried to Contact Wintage Wheels but with no sucess so far. I also noticed that Trigo Wheels sell an undrilled forged spinner, maybe that is the route I have to take... /Mattias

    Spinner won't fit

Thank you for the input. The pitch is correct. I haven't been able to check the thread form but since they (male/femal threads) barely grab on to each other I assume the form cannot be the main issue. It would be interesting to hear what dimensions others have on their hubs/spinners. /Mattias

    Spinner won't fit

Hi, I have some fitting issues with my wheel spinners and I would highly appreciate any input from you guys. I bought a set of Tri-Wing spinners from Vintage wheels. When I mounted them I noticed that the threads on the hubs don’t match the threads on the spinners very well. The threads on...

    Inverting/Flipping a ZF

Phil, Ron, Randy and Mike, Thanks a lot for all your help. This forum is truly excellent. Despite your “warnings” Mike I think I have gained enough confidence to make an attempt at performing this operation. I have reasonably good experience from working with ZF’s (non-transaxle) and rear...

    Inverting/Flipping a ZF

-Thank you Phil. This was precisely what I was looking for, superb firsthand information from someone who has performed this himself and obviously succeeded. Regarding the puller, I remember seeing a device consisting of two “half-circles” that clamps around the bearing when being bolted to a...

    Inverting/Flipping a ZF

Hi, I have tried to gather information about the procedure for inverting the ZF (from Pantera to GT40 orientation). After spending quite some time on various forums, I still think I lack a conclusive answer. Sometimes this 180 deg. flip seems to require the act of a wizard, whereas others...
