While the adapter plate for the Ford 302 matches the 5/8 studs holes in the RCR40 frame, it seems I have clearance issues with the starter solenoid(see picture). Anyone have suggestions?

Rick, Per your post when you cut a rectangular hole in the left sponsoon did you have to have the interior baffle welded or was it already completely seal welded. I too want to locate my fuel pumps in these locations on both sides.
