Doesn't that car use a trans going forward with a takeoff going back to a diff tucked next to the back of the engine?
(BTW, how does everyone keep up with all the mikes here?)
It will be a while before I finish the whole upright but here are the parts I'm using.
The 928 stub axle is a machined forging (!). That's a 928 wheel bearing and I made a titanium hub for a 5x4.5 bolt pattern.
Thank you Phil.
It looks like there are no known stub axles to go with these 27 spline hubs. There may be some aftermarket parts of unknown quality but nobody knows the dimensions of the existing "micro stubs" which tells me it's just people selling things made who knows where.
There is one...
Thank you Phil, that made me remember I have some Superformance Cobra axles here and I just learned something interesting.
The outer CVs are 28 spline like you mentioned AND they are the same as Porsches. At least 928s (which use 108mm CVs and never break). The Ford is about .3" shorter.

I have a Timken hub assembly I'd like to use but need a stub axle.
It's a 27 spline that measures about 1.18" and has 2.87 'length', it's used in 2002 Ford Explorers and has the 5 x 114.3 pattern I want.
This unit would be handy to use or I can keep looking for a hub assy if needed. My car is...
How much does the 016 weigh?
I have a couple of magnesium case 915s and they weigh 99 lbs.The alum ones are about 10-12 more as I understand.
I specifically wanted a 915 mag case instead of a G50 because of weight.
I need to share something about these EMPI CVs. They are cheap Chinese crap and prone to coming apart because of poor workmanship as I found.
I had some in a Superformance Cobra and one exploded on track. I looked at the parts under a scope and could see that the ball race slots were sloppy...
