Funny you should say that Randy I remember some info on the other forum about that. They had purchased one and ultimately decided they couldn't achieve the high standard they wanted using the GTM. Also if anyone has amazon prime Hammond rolls one over and destroys one in a hill climb

For comparison summer running AC and cruising at 65-70 I could get 90 miles on a charge. It was good at what it was designed for and had a surprising amount of space inside. Being an enthusiast though it didn't move me at all I felt like I was driving an appliance like a toaster

I think the key after reading the article is expectations. Unlike most of us this individual paid someone to build them a kit where most of us find the build and creative process to be part of the joy. Writing a check for a completed product comes will a whole other host of expectations
Agreed we actually spent an entire day in the village. To see the actual shop where the Wright flier was built and the actual tools was awesome then you add to that Edisons Menlow park lab and the homes of Robert Frost and Noah Webster it becomes a one stop shop of history.
