    What CLUTCH to use with Renault UN1 transmission ?

    There are not too many options for UN1 tranny due to its small (235mm) clutch diameter. "Original" Esprit SE Valeo cover has only 6500N clamping force. Is there any stronger aftermarket alternative? Perhaps, AP Racing or PNM Engineering in UK?

    UN tranny fork tip may brake away if you're running stronger cover diaphragm spring. The fix is to weld two reinforcement plates strengthening the weak section.

    Olivier, Paul, how did it pan out? Any further observations/tips? Anyone else tried it? P.S. IMO, spray nozzles should have bungs welded into the casing. Plain holes introduce stress points, since cracking is possible.
