    Garage Update

Nice garage! Mine will never be that clean, but it'll at least be more useful once I finish installing outlets and put in some additional lighting. When I bought the house, there was only one wall outlet in the garage.

7th Annual Shelby Car Show Plano, Texas

It was good to see y'all's -40s out on display along with the #2 MKII replica. My daughter decided that she needed her picture taken with the Gulf colors. I believe that was Robert's car.

    Is this a GT40 Replica

I've seen these sell for $2500 in good condition (no engine or transmission) and around $5000 running. I'm sure they can be a fun, cheap car to build, but they really look almost nothing like a GT40, and the back end is hideous, in my opinion.

The paddock enter ony if you have something sanitised to say.

We're not quite to the point of having to choose one or the other, but those are the two presumed nominees. A lot can happen, both legitimate and shenanigans, between now and the real voting this fall. At this point, the only way that Trump won't be the Republican party nominee would be a...

I still don't know if I'll be able to make it tomorrow, but I will try to be there. I'm excited to be able to see those Cobras and the progress on your car!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'd not heard of them, and that price is better than what I've been seeing elsewhere. I'll certainly keep them in mind. I have plenty of time to think about is as there is quite a bit of planning left to do. I get the notion that there's no reason to reinvent this...

I'm open to either, but my assumption is that I'll end up doing a ground-up build. That scares be a bit simply because I expect the body would easily take me 10 years to form from scratch. If I go the direction of a kit, it would be a basic kit to just get the body and bypass that monumental...

Hi, everyone. I currently don't have any cars with more than 4 cylinders, and with a still expanding family, it may be a while. I've been enjoying following several of the build logs, but only just joined. I live in Little Elm, Texas, just a few houses down from Frisco. I'm a mechanical...

    First GT40 gathering Dallas/Texas

I'm disappointed I missed out on that October event. If you guys don't mind a new guy coming along, I'd enjoy meeting up in November. I have a wedding to attend on the 14th, but so long as the time doesn't conflict, I'm available.
