    New engine/engine builder

Hi I have the ZF/RBT gearbox and this should cope with the power. I run Goodyear slicks on 15" rims on the track, and based on the experience with my existing engine giving 550hp and just a little less torque I think the extra power will be ok to handle. Regards Trond

    oil fouled plugs

Hi Also check that all your plug wires are intact. Theese often are close to the headers and crack up due to the heat. Start the engine in the dark and check for sparks! You see any damaged wires imidiately. regards Trond

    Racing Setup - Hooptie 500

Re: Racing Setup? Hi We have two guys in Norway that likes to go fast, and it is quite shocking how fast they go and what cars they use. Polly (funny name!) has done 407,134km/h in his old Trans Am! Trans-Am - Polly Motorsport and Anders has done 344 km/h in his Opel Omega RATS This...

    Racing Setup - Hooptie 500

Re: Racing Setup? Hi My Superformance mkII 2005 (one of the first "prototypes") has a Roush 427R 550hp and ZF/RBT transmission. Standard brakes, "normal" ride height (just adjusted to be sure the front is a little bit lower then the rear), 17" wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires...

How fast a GT can go?

Hi I have driven my standard "out of the box" SPF MKII with ZF RBT and Roush 427R/530 HP at 305km/h. That is about 190+ miles/hour. The car has not been done anything special with, and runs Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. This was done on a motorway in Poland, and the car felt stable and ok...

Hi My oil cooler arrangement on my SPF MKII, as it is "standard" from the installer, delivered as said earlier too much cooling for road use. In the additional cold air in Norway at spring/fall i was not able to get oil temperatures of more then 50-60 degrees celcius and not more then 60-70...

    Ferrari / GT40 Comparison

Hi Regarding the Ferrari cost of ownership tere is a huge difference from the 360 model and up compared to the older cars. The 360 and newer models are the same as "ordinary" cars what comes to service, and i think they run up to 25.000km between the service. Also the service is more normal...

    Ferrari / GT40 Comparison

Hi I agree with Cliff Beer what comes to the differences between the cars. If you are used to driving a Ferrari 360 og 430 you will NOT be satisfied with a GT-40 without knowing what kind of a car this is. It is hot, both dust and water is coming into the car, it is a LOT of noise andt...

    HELP!

I have a Roush 427R. The engine has been running good until now. It starts normal and is running ok until I put load on it. Then it starts to "sparkle" heavily with a lot of what seems to be misfire. I noticed that the little ball inside the MSD distributor cap had fallen out, and replaced the...

Wetsanding Mold Lines - Any Advice?

Hi You will have to go for #2 sulution. Be sure you have the exsact same gelcoat colour to fill in. If you have that you will be able to sand the new gelcoat down to an even and homogen surface equal to the "old" surface around. You will not see the repair at all. Be shure to do this on an...
