Former USAF pilot, now 787 airline pilot. Living the dream! I live on a runway with a big hangar shop, and I'm 20 minutes from one of the best road racing tracks in Texas, MSR Cresson. I've competitively road raced motorcycles, and have been driving and developing a Miata for the last 6+ years. Airframe and Powerplant mechanic. I've built an airplane (T-18, RV-6), several 600cc class road racing bikes, a Cafe Racer from a frame, and developed my Miata with it's 100HP of rage...lol.

It's time to develop my HP/Ftlbs skills on the track, and I want another project. I seriously considered a LS powered ND Miata, which gives me 530HP in a 2500lbs car. But, I've always had the GT40 on my mind. After a lot of research, I'm convinced this is what I want to do. A major part of that decision is the community that surrounds this iconic car. I hope to become a contributing member of this community!
