    F1 in 2012

Who is going to Monza? It would be great to meet you, if we can find each other! My brother and I are leaving Perth on Monday evening and will be at the track from Thursday. We're booked into Grandstand Vedano No 24, and staying at the Hotel Trezzo, about 20km away and ENE of Milan...

    great porsche 917 incar video

Nice vid - thanks for posting it. Great to see a 68-70 Alfa GTV getting passed there too. I used to club race one before I got a mortgage and kids. Never got passed by a 917, though. I must have been fast!

    help with video

Hi Keith - what format is your video in? If it's a .avi, that is uncompressed and not particularly liked by youtube. You may need to convert. If you have QuickTime pro you can export for the web as H264, which I've found to be very Youtube friendly, even at 1080p. Other than that, is there...

    Roy Salvadori has died

Noooo - I was just watching Roy being interviewed about his career and other greats of the era on MotorMate last week. He had so much charisma and was a great story teller. I don't know how long ago it was recorded, but could well have been 10 years ago.

I wish you all the best, Brian. We weren't hit as long, wide and deep by the GFC, and real estate has been growing here for a couple of months now. Hopefully US real estate will follow suit as confidence comes back to your capital markets.

Russ, you have a very nice looking rear end of the car... Following on from KevinB's post about Commodore rear bearings, Harrop offers a possible wear solution for this kind of set-up with its bespoke billet bearing hubs - at a price: 99-ADRV8013-00

    My VFX Movie Clips

Thanks very much, Brian, I appreciate it. I've been out of touch for a while - how are your SLC plans going? Lecusay, while the idea appeals to me, I'm happy teaching myself the ropes and learning the particular skills I need as an idea for a new clip springs to mind. But the reality is...

    My VFX Movie Clips

Hi, and happy new year When the day's work is done, the kids are put to bed and there is no quiet work that can be done on my somewhat dormant scratchbuild project, I spend some time learning to use Adobe After Effects, a studio quality motion graphics and compositing program. The learning...
