Converting a GT40 into a Dino 206SP

Here is a corner for the front airintake- a lot of stretch in the flange:

and checking the symmetry, not to far off considering I did not use a wooden buck, it is all done by photos and 100% handbuilt..

Another part of the airintake, I used the same handtools to shape it. Something happened to the flat surface with the round flange but I solved it with shrinking to flatten it again.

welded in:

o/a welding the corners and the flat part

Frontend with the intake

Both sides welded in, sorry for the picture quality but germany is wet and dark at the moment so I cannot pull the car out of its garage...

Now comes a 5 days break, I promised family time and so there is no time for the car...

Since the weather switched to winter this week with cold temperatures and lots of snow it is no fun in the workshop...so there is only minor progress.

I did the inner panels for the headlights and checked with the wheel, a tight fit, it is half an inch gap which should work I hope...

When I get home from work it is already dark when I go in the shop, so sorry for the bad pictures, but I want to keep you updated even if it is just minor progress or dark pictures...
