Daytona HSR 2018

Spotted this beautiful Gelscoe Mk I GT at this year's HSR event. The ID tag was difficult to see, but it appeared to be #014.

This beautiful COB cobra was in attendance also.

Thanks for posting your pics Michael. I was at the race also and agree this was a spectacular looking car up close. In speaking with one of the drivers (Chris) I asked him what speed he was hitting on the banking and he replied about 170-173. The car was running on Avon tires for those interested. Sadly the car was up against the Lola T-70's who ran away from everyone in the events I watched. I love the Lola's too but would loved to have seen the 40's with more of a fighting chance. Great event. The Group C series was also peppered with some lovely machinery.

Always great fun to watch these fine machines out on the track engaged in battle.

I love the Lola's too...and the Porsches...Ferraris...Jags...heck, I love 'em all.
