RCR GT40 Partially Completed Kit ***SOLD***

Guys,
I am thinking of selling my partially completed RCR Mark I left hand drive (US side) Deluxe plus kit with the following options:
  • Gulf Flares
  • Widened BRM wheels

The car is finished in blue gelcoat and is the Deluxe + kit. In addition I have added the following.
  • 2014 Coyote 5.0
  • Borla Coyote Stack Injection
  • ZF Transaxle gone through by Pantera Performance in Castle Rock Colorado including his billet upper mount and CV Adapters. He did the flip for the GT40 as well as the safety wire procedure internally. I have over $13k in parts and labor including his hydraulic slave setup for the clutch and throwout bearing.
  • Quicktime Bell housing for ZF to Coyote
  • Infinitybox wiring harness
  • RCR Hartwell Replica latches
  • Ididit Steering column with NRG quick release and Moto Lita steering wheel
  • All nose and brake ducting from Datona Bill
  • Gurney bubble
  • Door pockets

I have a ton of receipts and with the big items alone I have almost $75k in the parts.

Currently the front and rear subframes have been rebuilt with more period correct setups like Tom’s car was. It is a roller, with doors hung with custom rod ends like Jason’s GT40. Front and rear clams are about 80% aligned. I have also flipped the windshield wiper. The engine is in and mocked up and could easily be moved back to any engine of your choice. I have not drilled the chassis for the motor mounts yet. I have also created a front roll cage hoop that is tucked tightly against the windshield with two center bars. I am only selling as I no longer have time to work on the car and would rather buy something I can drive.

If you are interested message me and we can have a discussion. $55k OBO. The car is located south of Denver Colorado.

Sorry to hear that, Dennis. We met at least once in Parker. I would be interested in a spare ZF if you decide to sell yours separately.

Thanks guys, yea its not an easy decision, I am looking at getting into a Mclaren MP4-12C, something I can just drive. I have a few other car projects going at this point and just don't have the time.

Tom, if the buyer does not want the transaxle I will let you know. I have a couple people dipping their toes into it already, hopefully it sells.

I had 2 McLaren 12Cs and they are excellent cars. I sold my last one to fund my Superformance GT40. I guess we have similar tastes. They are great cars, cheap maintenance, as compared to other super cars. Good luck!

Dennis, Looks like the start of header work shown, any other exhaust components included? GLWS
No other than the flanges, I used those to ensure I had clearance while mocking up the motor mounts. For those who have asked, car is still for sale and I am responding to emails and DMs now.
Thanks
Dennis

A few people have asked for more pictures. Here are some I was able to take today. If there is something you want to see specifically, let me know. FWIW, could not for the life of me get the rotations saved right. I even rotated the pictures incorrectly hoping that they would appear correct here but nope. Sorry!
