Here are a few pics of Rick Reeve's GT-R that I dropped off to him yesterday so that he can get acquainted with his new toy.
It is not quite 100% complete but is very close . It runs/drives/handles/stops incredibly well and looks fantastic!
It has quite a few of H's upgrade parts ( tail lights , rear window, center console, door panels ) . All of the other upgrades as well as the rest
of the build were done by me.

Beautiful car Ron. Was that your car, or a build you did specifically for this gentleman ?

Regards Brian

Ron real nice job here what did you do about the door Windows since this seems to be a road block and H is working on a retrofit also I assume you used the new shifter in this build
Thanks
Larry

Hi Ron,
Are those (rcr) door panels? I see they use the Miata door handles. Is that a 'production' H center console? Since I do not know much about the side window, what is the issue and what was your solution? (like to understand the craftsmanship I am looking at).

Ron are your windows electrically operated if so can you share with the group your fix it appears you put turn signal lights in your rear view mirrors am I right

Hi Mesa
the door panels are from me.

Thanks for all of the positive comments. It was a huge amount of work to get it to this point but it really is an amazing car.
The mirrors are from Vitaloni. They do not have turn signals in them . What you are seeing is the Vitaloni badge .
The tag bracket/ rear grill / rear view camera/tag light assembly is something that I fabricated from scratch out of aluminum.
The door panels/pockets/trim rings and aluminum door pulls are from H Craft. I incorporated the Miata door release handles into them.
The door windows are not electric. I sectioned the window and added an aluminum framework to attach/support the windows. The side panels have retaining clips in the front and three small ,flush ,stainless steel 1/4 turn fasteners to hold them in. They stow neatly behind the seats when not in use.( which is 90% of the time). They install easily back into the doors in a few seconds .
The rear deck hinge design is my own. The hinges are from Audi but the brackets are custom. They attach to the firewall from the engine side and have heavy braces on the cockpit side to tie into the chassis /rollcage.
The headliner is supplied from Superlite and is covered in Alcantara. The cage is unaltered. There are still a few small trim pieces that are needed to completely finish the interior but I just simply ran out of time.
The rear window glass ( also from H Craft) added a huge amount of rigidity to the rear hatch and looks fantastic!

Thanks,
Ron
