Hi all,
Sorry for the slow response on this matter, work & life keep getting in the way!
I’ve now had the quote back from the supplier and I can do a set of three panels (one upper & 2 lower panels) for the same price as before £80/set + postage

These are water cut (a better process for cutting thin materials than a laser) from 1.5mm 1050 grade aluminium, then pressed using a CNC’d press tool to give the correct and consistent rolled edge on the openings. To aid a few people, the 9-hole upper grille is also now slightly oversized (460x310mm) and can then be trimmed to your moulded recess. Also, the mounting holes have also now been deleted, allowing them to be match to existing holes
So, as it looks like 16 people have shown an interest, so I’ll place the order with the supplier for the blanks. I should be then able to start supplying them out in January

So Charley Farley do you sell these exact vents? Don’t see them listed on your website, not seen them for sale on any other sponsors website??
I spoke with you about vents not too long ago and you told me these vents would make my car look like a kit car (which it is) so I’m guessing you’re not a fan of them!

Charlie, My apologies. I am a supporter of this site. I didn't read and thought this was ok and nobody stepped up to say this was unacceptable. Andy- you need to do this per site rules and then I will purchase from you. I am not here to support this site and to have or cause problems.

For clarity I definitely still want a set please Andy and appreciate you helping me by supplying a set of vents I cannot find anywhere else.

The fact that you are doing this to help us out I think is great and what a community of like minded people should be doing.

If you were a trader selling your goods then I would say it is indeed a bit cheeky to do so without being a sponsor and should not be allowed but being an enthusiast and helping other enthusiasts as a one off did not warrant the sanctimonious response above...

You know Paul you have a point, These are one off custom pieces. I am a big fan of buying items that are made from people that have the ability of making custom pieces.
Andy- keep me on the list.
Charlie- Not a good impression on doing future business with you.
