M6B Tragic

Don't know if anyone can help here, I am trying to upload some pictures taken from my phone, which I have done in the past ( and it worked ), but now it says I need to resize my file manually to be within my dimension limits. How the hell do you do that?

Udo, you may have to download a resizing app for your phone.
I can sometimes use the email app on the phone to resize images I email to myself.

Hi Guys, here are some pictures of my latest work. I'm having a lot of trouble with resizing pictures. I'll keep trying.

Sorry Udo - I don't know what's going on there.
If your images have been resized to be within the Max Size, Max Height and Max Width noted on the following thread, you may want to post to that thread and / or send Ron a PM.
HOW TO POST PICTURES ON GT40s.com

Thanks Randy, But my mate Clayton has come to the rescue again and resized them for me, don't know what I did wrong, but it seems to be working. These are pictures of the front end I have done a bit more on.

Here are some of the lines to and from the radiator. I've used 2" for the suction and 1 3/4" for the return to the radiator. Now I have to make up a swirl pot ( de aerator ) and header/ fill tank. Getting there slowly.

Awesome work mate. any guesses as to what it will weigh when finished, this is a track car right. I see fans and have to ask now I'm thinking I have asked this before. I turned 59 the other day and think the Alzheimer's is setting in. Cheers Leon

Leon
Panic not. It was reported in the paper the other day that an `elderly` gentleman had got stuck in his motor home...he was 69.
You have 10 more years, me its next year!
Cheers

Hi Leon, yes you did ask before, but don't worry out of 8 hours working in the shed, I'll spent 7 walking in circles looking for something I just put down a second ago. Now I can't remember what I was going to say. Oh yeah, that's right, the fans are there as a precaution, it gets very hot here in the Territory. It definitely won't be a road car.

Udo's been chipping away with the body work and we all know how painful that is, especially in the tropics...
Inner guards just about done, front and rear clip mounts done. Heaps of work on the seat (no pics) and lots of other small jobs on the go.

Clayton

Hi Michel
I was around at Udo’s today and can confirm work is progressing, albeit slower then he would like.
I’m sure he will update with pictures soon.

Clayton

Hi Udo.

I just saw the last time we spoke was Sept 2017 you and I have had some progress in this time. You are looking really good, I not so much. I have finished the engine and the chassis I just have to do another body which I'm hoping to get to after Christmas. Are you in Darwin?? I'm working in the Territory now an hour south of Daly Waters. I FIFO from NZ and go through Darwin. If you can it would be nice to catch up might even have time between flights for a quick look at your car. Mine has come a long way since you saw it, I'm hoping to finish it early in the new year.

Cheers Leon.

Udo has had some problems trying to login.
Once it’s sorted, he’ll update his progress.

Hi Leon
When will you be transiting through Darwin ?

Clayton

Super !!!
Was just sending him a PM
Could you pass him very far and friend "Bonjour" !!

Clayton ; Thanks for your first M6B pics !!! are they some more to come specially for the chassis
Thanks in advance

Hi Clayton, I didn't check this so Have already gone on the 19th but I will be back in the New Year not sure when but most likely after the "Wet" about March or early April so will make contact again when I'm in the NT.

Cheers Leon.

Hi Leon
Udo has been super busy with work and hasn’t had time to sort out his login problem.
Should get some time in the new year.
Hopefully we can catch up at the end of the wet.
Let us know before you head over.

Clayton

Hello Clayton.
I,m going to be in Darwin on Monday 20th and have the whole day free flying to Daly Waters on Tuesday morning. I would like to be able to catch up with Udo and you and have a look at the McLaren in the flesh if you guys were going to be available. I can rent a car for the day and come to you if that's possible. Let me know when you can I'm flying out of NZ Sunday afternoon. Cheers Leon.
