This is an old subject I guess!
I've had a persistent very slight weep of hydraulic fluid from the Willwood clutch master cylinder reservoir on my Mk1 RCR. Despite tightening and refitting the assembly the weep remained. The clip design and the relatively thin plastic does look a little tricky but there's no pressure and it should seal on the 'O' ring without any messy sealer involved!
I've cured my problem by respecifiying the 'O' ring making it very slightly larger. The one I've used is 3.53mm section and 28.17mm bore in EPDM rubber which is compatible with brake fluid. The supplier was 'Simply Bearings' (www.simplybearing.co.uk) who are a very good outfit who have helped me out several times with bearings and seals. In UK they deliver next day. Two 'O' rings delivered in UK were £8.68.
