Today's job was to convert the front beer cup holders into access panels for maintenance to the door hing/strut assembly. All the items can now be removed without having to take the spyder off. Changing out a weak strut will be much easier also.

I did the same and I also cut an access panel right behind the front wheel to help with access. I found my hands and arms were a bit to big for that small cup hole and I couldn't maneuver inside that tight space very well. The wheel well access is hidden very well so you really don't notice it at all.

Making a dolley/engine run stand for the LS9 engine and V10 Graziano. The uprights have been welded. The two uprights on the right are for the engine. the middle two are for the adapter. The two on the left are taller for the Graziano mounting position. This will double as a engine run stand so future items will be attached around the perimeter. I also wanted to make it portable in case I decide to move before building the next car.

Yup....that's my living room. The life of a bachelor...lol ;)

Robert I thought the same thing. I wondered what his wife was thinking the first time she saw THAT in the house. Especially if she came home with her girl friends from a mall shopping trip, asked them in for a cup of tea and THAT was in the living room.

Ken, Just a bit of fun, no insult intended.

Just tell them it's your new Roomba!

Sadly on the long list of projects that aren’t getting much attention ... Scott Swartz has some great renders that I’m planning to use for inspiration. Just need to find the time.

Here is a template for a trick Graziano speed signal sensor mount (Remember to set your printer to 100%). Needed for a ECM/speedo signal. You can purchase the 48t reluctor wheel from Fran and mount it on the driverside inboard CV joint. This plate will give you a nice place to mount your sensor. I mounted a ABS active sensor and a passive sensor for the ECM to this mount (see 4th picture).
Ken:
This exactly what I need for my traction control sensor. By any chance do you have the bottom angle aluminum bracket detailed dimensions?
Thanks

also if you happen to know the angle at which the bottom angle bracket sits relative to the bottom edge of the mounting plate. Thank you very much

Ken:
Did you consider mounting the sensor directly on the CV cover, since I only have one sensor. It may be a simpler solution and less parts that potentially can get loose. KISS mantra.

Others have successfully made a sensor mount on the CV cover. I had to mount two sensors on that side so chose my version instead. I didn't make templates for the angle brackets unfortunately. My version might be more appropriate for someone who might add a second sensor in the future.

I have a total of 5 sensors. two for ABS (active), Two for Racelogic TC (passive) and one for the ECM/speedo control (passive)

Thanks Ken, I have the traction control from racetronics. I have not decided what sensor to use for the Koso unit or the ECM. I thought race logic was no longer available. I tried to find a good ABS and traction control system, the only system I could find was racetronics. No ABS.
