RCR GT40 Mkii Rear Inner Wheelwell Panels.

Hi
Not finding any instructions on how to bond the aluminum panels into the the rear clamshell that are the inner Wheelwell splash panels. Kit came with two large panels and two bent supports.
Thanks in advance

I can't help you. My MKII didn't come with anything internal panels in the back body work. Can you include a picture of the panels as well. I don't know what they even look like.
Thanks

Do a search on 3M panel bond. It will glue just about anything to anything. Body shops use it to glue sheetmetal onto cars. Not much welding with the new cars.
I've used it to glue steel to fiberglass on a Cobra hardtop. Six years later still holding.
I glued stainless washers / bolts to the rear clam shell on my GT 40 to hold the heat shield in place. I also glue a piece of aluminum to re-enforce the opening around the carb.
They used two different type glues on Corvettes and the fiberglass boat industry uses glues to bond wood, metals, etc to fiberglass.
