Mounting the Superlite emblems

Has anyone mounted your emblems yet? With them being concave on the back, it doesn't seem like there will be much contact between the double sided tape and the body of the car. I thought about filling the back of the emblem with something to make it flat, but I'm not sure what to fill it with. Thoughts?

Does anyone know where to get the wheel center caps with the SL-C logo? I know I’ve seen it somewhere on this forum.

Joel,

Did emblems come with your kit or did you purchase them separately? I did not receive anything with my kit (no wheel center caps or any emblems) so I am just curious.

Brian,

I have seen one of Allan’s videos where he used them as center caps so I guess they would work.

Kurt,

When I purchased my car one emblem was included and I purchased a second. Planned to use one the nose and the other on the steering wheel. I recall they were available while supplies last. They had a blue, a red, and silver version.

Kurt, you should have gotten a set of Foregatar center caps

There are no center caps in the Superlite logo from the factory, just the ones in post #5 above. Those are way to big to use as center caps- they were designed to be mounted on the hood. If you want wheel center caps, you have to make them, or have someone make them for you. It wouldn't be hard to have a vinyl shop make up a set of appliques that could be put on the Forgestar caps.

I have 3D printed center caps. I got them from a very helpful forum member.
Looks very nice and fits perfect.

I'm still running forgestar caps, but plans to get something laser etched on aluminum to put over (or replace) Forgestar caps.

Those 3D printed caps are pretty slick, kinda makes me want make some to get resin printed.

Mason S did these for me......

The center cap had a slight dome shape while the emblem was flat. The second picture shows the center of the cap cut out so the emblem could lay flat to the surface.
