For those still interested in the F1 for this season, if you haven't watched it, the latest race (Silverstone) has one of the best finishes I've ever seen. Last 5 laps or so sets it up.

That's the difference between Shu and Lewis. Lewis has the wins, but only because of the car. I doubt he could have ever developed a car like Shu did.

Haters gonna hate. He's shown that he has what it takes to win with a broad array of skills. Can't deny a good car helps, but you see two-car teams all the time, where the teammates aren't on the same level, and this is one. Nobody could do what he has without earning it,

Could Hamilton win like he dose with another team? Not every one liked Shooy but he could drive and win. same goes for Hamilton. When the chemistry is right this is what you get.

Yes. The Benetton ran an illegal traction control system as is well known and can be seen in the way it pulls out of the last corner. Remove the dodgy tactics, poor sportsmanship, unfair advantage and cheating and Schumacher's record doesn't look as good. At least Hamilton plays it straight. Check out his earlier races in Karts on YouTube where there was no machinery advantage.
Cheers

No denying Ham can drive! Seven titles agree but what is the ratio of car to driver? Would Grosjean be P1 in the Benz? Would Lewis be mid pack in the Haas?

Bottas has the exactly same car as his teammate which is more than any of Schumacher's teammates ever got. He even took Barrichello's car at one race!

As I've watched both Schumacher's reign, as well as Hamilton's, the two cannot be compared side by side other than which man came out on top enough times to win what was needed. Both were extraordinary. If I had to pick one skill that Hamilton has over his competition, is his ability to go faster than most, while simultaneously making his tires last longer than most. Many of his wins was because he outlasted a possibly faster car, with a smarter race. I can't think of how many races that this was the deciding factor in his win.

Yeah, it had everything in it. Loved to see a pink car finally take a win. I guess the fortunes for Russell will change now that he showed his wares when he needed to. Great race...and all done without a drop of rain.

That was my thoughts as well. With title won, Bottas needed some help in getting as many points as possible leading into the last race of the year, and a call was made. At that point IMHO, it didn't matter. The team couldn't un-see what had transpired up to that point (Russell's performance). So it will be interesting to see what happens next year in a seat for Russell, Perez, and of course the one hanging on for dear life, Albon. As much as I dislike Verstappen, I hated to see his race end with him not doing something overly aggressive to cause his DNF.
