Has anyone had issues with the clutch bleed screw leaking once tightened also the brake residual valves I remember reading a post that we should not use the ones that come with the kit

Larry, I can confirm there are numerous posts about the residual valves. I bought Wilwood Residual Pressure Valves 260-13783. Actually installing them this week. No idea on the clutch bleed screw.

Same, I will also be replacing the brake pressure switch eventually to a low pressure one. It seems that I have to pressure the pedal farther than I’d like before the lights come on.

So I have spent the last couple of days fabricating the side pods and trim pieces for the door seals just need to add the final top piec to finish it off

So it's been two weeks since Allan has picked up the car and he is moving right along, not only is Allan doing an awesome job he is explaining to me his process of bringing this car to a high quality finish which I as a builder really appreciate.

Alan is making sure all of the gaps are correct and messaging the body so she is laser straight. He is also installing the inner wheel liners from H. One thing Allan had mentioned is to be careful with the front hinges they have to be as forward as possible and you must keep the stops on so that the hood does not lay on the radiator, of coarse I didn't push them far enough forward.

Good morning everyone, as you all know after 30 something SLC model cars Allan has perfected his technical ability + craftmanship to bring these cars to a very high level of fit and finish. So my car is no different and I am truly anal of how I want the final product to appear at the end.

All good morning so Allan is almost completely done a few odds and ends to finish up but 90% home. I do have to say I think I wore him out with all of the extras I asked him to do and also all of the go backs he needed to take care of for me. This was my first GTR build not my first kit build so I learned a ton of information from Allan so in case I ever do this again I know the pitfalls. He and his crew have been really amazing, what‘s nice about his team they all care a lot about the final product and won’t stop until it’s perfect.
So I would highly recommend if your thinking about a build like the GTR call Allan first and seek out his knowledge for many of us home builders we don’t have Paint Booths for a high quality paint job so that is why I took my car to Allan. I figured after 31 sister cars built and 3 GTR’s prior to mine built he is a master builder Of the SLC cars.
This car will be up for sale once I finish a few more minor details If anyone is intereste.

Hey guys getting real close to finishing up just a few odds and ends to complete and she will be coming back home and I finally get to drive her after 2.5 yrs of work. Here is another sneak peak. As I have said already if your thinking about building one of these cars I would consult with Allan prior to starting, I am going to try and convince him to write a small do’s and don’t book on this build.

Well H has run into some bad luck with trying to cut the rear windshields out of the donor windshield he made 5 attempts this morning and everyone broke I feel bad for H now he is out a good amount of cash so I am sending Allan my plexiglass windshield for now until H can get the cutting figured out so I can get the car back this weekend

Any reason given? New supplier of the glass? New tool to cut?
Sorry to say he had no problem with cutting and installing mine.
And we all know H will figure it out. They are fantastic and much better than the plexi.
