RCR40 302 vs. 351 Clearance

I know things are pretty tight and hot in the engine bay, so wondering if the taller 351 poses any clearance issues with the rear clam? Also, is the RFOB the same on both engines?

What car do you have? I have a CAV and things are tight but work well. The half inch higher deck will raise the exhaust a little depending on who makes the it. some are higher than others. I assume you are asking about the rear face of the block, 302 and 351 are the same.

Sorry, forgot to mention. RCR40 MK1. Trying to figure out what to do regarding engine options. I've had a 363 sbf ordered now for 21 months, but still no promise on availability from Craft. Apparently Dart blocks are nowhere to be found....what hurts even more is that Dart Machinery is located only about a 45 minute drive from where I live.

Prestige had my injected 363 built in less than 3 months earlier this year. It would have been sooner, but Holley Terminator X computers were back ordered for a while. Great shop to work with. Mine hit 510 on the dyno.
