SBF GURNEY WESLAKE VALVE COVERS

Inquired with a couple of vendors but only 1 response. Anybody out there have a set they want to sell. Thank you,

JM

Just curious but why do you want them? In all the years I`ve been around I`ve only seen Gurney Weslake or Gurney Eagle valve covers on original cars with the appropriate Gurney cylinder heads. Most original cars had pressed steel valve covers and not Gurney type because they were a different shape and didn`t fit standard type heads. If anyone knows of any please tell me, I would like to know about them

The other thing is the majority of the non-GT40 people in the world don't know the difference.

And the other other thing is they look cool.

Andy,

My understanding is that you only have the G-Eagle style, not the G-Weslake style. Is that correct?

Please advise.

Thanks,

JM

The top fin on those covers is not correct.
If you look at our covers the top fin is not broken into 4 parts but is one long fin

Ole
If the Cleveland rocker cover bolt pattern is the same as a 289/302/351 the covers will bolt straight on.
I have been told they are the same but I am not sure.

Thanks
Andy

I know they are not correct, but also they are going on Shelby heads. Below are the original heads and covers.

Rob Klein, what chassis is that. Looks like a different battery box cover to what I was expecting. Substantially higher. Wonder if they were running a taller and bigger battery.
