Superlite Aero

It is John's car. It was nice to see and support one of my sister cars on track.

I am attempting to track down all of the SLC Aero owners. If anyone is an owner or has run across any of the cars online, please post so that I can follow all of the leads. There are a very small group of us that are continuing to develop the car and add to the owners experience.

Just a few shots of sister cars.

The Aero was one of the most unattractive cars I've ever seen. Maybe it was not popular enough to take it to the market.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion although it may vastly differ from other opinions. That's not a particular subject I would waste the time to comment.

The aesthetics have nothing to do with Fran's decision to stop manufacturing the Aero, that I can assure you.

Wonder if there will be a new car? Or a new body for the super lite.
Given what Fran has discussed with me, I do not believe that he will ever do a turn key race car like the Aero ever again.

I have no idea what possibilities exist for Fran to offer updated or new bodywork for the Superlite Coupe or other.

We do have a turnkey Aero leaving the shop tomorrow actually.
Probably the last TK but we do have some chassis and suspension to build rollers available

Personally I love the way the car looks.
I'm with you on the look! Make me a super lite with that nose and sides look!

We do , its called the Aero
has center driving position and one seat...not feasible with a full width SLC for two people on the existing chassis

Does that include the body pieces? A roller with the chassis, suspension, body, essentially a kit minus engine, trans, electrical would be very interesting to me and probably a lot of other builders. But only if you are going to continue supplying the parts in the future too.
Maybe there is still a future for the Aero as a kit car!
