I just saw your transaxle questions on Phil G's build log.
First, Fran says the Mendola is too long.
I had originally purchased a Porsche 96/01 from Fran, but decided I wanted an RBT or ZF instead. So I called Fran and he had a ZF just being finished from a rebuilder and offered it to me. I grabbed it right away. He finds these sporadically but you might get lucky if you just call Fran.
