    Hi Olason,

The answer to your question depends upon the CAD system you are using.
For me though I used susprog to work out the geometry then mad the mounts and parts to suit when it was all connected correctly on Solid Edge I then measured it all to make sure it was as susprog said it should be.
I hope this helps, I'm not 100% sure of the question.
    Hi Doug,

I am new on here, but through a prior search for C6 corvette spindles for my project I found the link to your .stp files. I am currently using them in a model of my 1968 Oldsmobile 442 modified chassis I plan to build after modeling it. How do you go about setting the camber/toe/caster in the suspension in the CAD model? Do you use the planes on the spindle or the hub? I am interested as I plan to actually set this on my project today as of right now they are just placed in the respective locations. I know it isn't a gt40, but in the future I plan to build one or a similar car.
    Hi Doug,
Thats a very good point. Those bearings are very expensive indeed. Especially buying all four corners. I'll pick some of those backing plates. I also recieved factory fives coilover relocation hardware they use on the GTM today. Decided to go with the C5 a-arms. Found enough room in my footbox to use them and not having something concrete was really slowing me down. Thanks for all your help.

    Hello Doug,
I recently acquired all the C5 suspension pieces I need for my project. I noticed you have the bracket behind the wheel bearings that support the wheel speed sensor on the upright. Is this necessary in any way? Do you have plans for sensor? I have a new set of bearings and I'm looking forward to assembling them but dont want to leave something important out. Thanks!

    Hi Eric,

Sorry I didn't notice this message here before, sorry I've no experience with CAV's, hope youve got this sorted.

    Thanks,

    Doug.
    Hi Doug,

I am the same size as you and have had issues with the CAV standard seat and my ability to properly press the clutch and throttle.

I moved the pedals full back = toward the driver and even slotted the
sliding seat bols slightly forward and I can just noe push the clutch fully.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks, Eric
