    CNebraska SL-C Build Thread

After a long and enjoyable summer I'm finally getting back into the swing of my build. I probably won't be posting much here, instead I'll be logging as much of build as I can on Instagram. Feel free to give me a follow @SLC_LST on Instagram. And for documentation purposes, I'm still...

    Tire sizes

Jeff, Keep in mind that all tires are different. Stephan, Cam, Joel, are running Michelin's. I heeded their advice and and bought 275/30 up front in Pirelli's, and i certainly could have gone up a size in width to 285, but not in height ( do not buy a taller tire than 30 series for the fronts...

SL-C Motor Fitment Check - new GM GenV LT2 ?

Thanks Joel... that's very helpful. Went out to the garage to take a pic of my adapter plate.. It's definitely different than the LS plate - by one hole - the top one. Note this is flipped from your image since it's looking into the Graz. Anyway, going to do some calling around today...

SL-C Motor Fitment Check - new GM GenV LT2 ?

Thanks for the feedback Joel, appreciate it! Definitely looks like the OE headers won't work since they sweep up and would surely hit the frame. The other thing is the Graz Adapter plate has one hole location that is either off or would need relocated. Need to research that some more. I'll...

SL-C Motor Fitment Check - new GM GenV LT2 ?

So i've been calling various engine builders getting quotes on LS3/LS7 builds, and as everyone knows LS3 blocks are severely backlogged right now. In conversation with a guy from MAST, we started chatting about their newer LT2 based LST crate. Specs are great but I'm not sure if it would fit...

    CNebraska SL-C Build Thread

Does anyone know or have a detailed parts lists of what is included in the standard SL-C Kit? Not add on's, just standard stuff. I'm missing more than a handful of items that I am aware of (so far).

    CNebraska SL-C Build Thread

Hi All, Had a special delivery yesterday - my SL-C Kit finally arrived! Didn't waste any time and got right to unpacking and removing all the tape residue. My build is pretty common i would say - i ordered most carbon goodies, had the graz re-geared, and planning on using a Chevy LS. I have...

possibly the sickest engine/tran package for an SLC ??

Weird, I guess GM retired the LS427/570 already. Wonder what they have up their sleeves. I just emailed a dealer to get a status, and asked if there's anything new scheduled to be released https://www.chevrolet.com/performance-parts/crate-engines/ls/ls427-570

possibly the sickest engine/tran package for an SLC ??

Appreciate the feedback! I did read about the guide issue with the LS7 heads.. wonder if any of that was changed with the new refit. Might have to just follow in Joel's footsteps and go with the LT4! Joel i'm still going to make it your way to see your build one of these days.

possibly the sickest engine/tran package for an SLC ??

Anyone have any insight (or opinions) on the new GM LS7 LS427/570 crate engine? 570HP/540TQ, with wet sump oiling. More power and easier to install than say the LS376/525 package. Sounds like the LS7 is a little heavier though. https://www.gmperformancemotor.com/parts/19421004.html

Drop gears or not to drop gears?

went back and read Cam's blog, and seems his opinion is to have the gears swapped pre-install. "In its original configuration, I believe the Graziano transaxle is geared too short for a street driven SLC. I find myself almost speed shifting into 3rd; in fact, skip shifting second and going...

Drop gears or not to drop gears?

Thank you Dan, Joel and all! Sounds like it worth it have the gears changed prior to receiving the kit. I'll leave me order as is i guess :)
