Finally achieved initial start up this morning! The beast sounds awesome. No major issues with just minor items to chase to ground:) Have a tuner scheduled for next Friday.

Took a few hours with the dremel to polish the recessed areas of the spinners as they really looked bad now that the polished rims are installed.

Was unable to get the spinners off the fronts using my HD 3/4 inch air gun, so I bought a 40 inch long 3/4 inch drive breaker bar and they came right off:)

Living in Virginia makes it a necessity:)

Plugging away at my punch list - Steam vent kit installed, dipstick installed, water pump installed, Rearview mirror backup camera installed, battery installed, ignition coils mounted and wired, plug wires on, heat insulation installed on underside of tail, pedal assembly mounted, tow bracket...

Brian, I do plan to drive it on the street. The process here is not too bad - a friend got his 63 Corvette gran sport registered and titled at DMV in less than an hour!

Fred, The white Center stripe is 14 1/4 inches wide with 1 1/2 inch gaps to the 3/4 inch wide outer whites. Best Regards, Jim

Not yet - still have to mount the seats, pedals and belts and finish carpeting.

Car arrived Sunday - rolled it outside today for a few pics. Hope to have it completed by late summer.

Went to the freight terminal and picked up my 4 post lift that was ordered in January. It is possible to do it all without any assistance:) I'll get started on assembly tomorrow.
