    CAV clutch issue

I got the ignition fixed so I decided to take the car out for a spin. Started it up and tried to put it in reverse but the gears were grinding. Turned it off and put it in reverse but when I cranked it with the clutch in ,it lurched rearward. The clutch was not disengaging. It has always been a...

    CAV ignition switch question

Intermittently it will just stop turning over and all electronics shut off when trying to start. I thought it was the relay, but I changed it and no better. Battery hot coming in to the switch is fine, but ign out dead. Looks like a Lucas part, big surprise .

    Gurney weslake valve covers

My hard cast aluminum valve covers hit the valve train when trying to fit. Have any of you had this issue? Did you just grind the offending area or use adapters to raise them? This stuff is tough as hell and difficult to grind.

    Mk I vs Mk II

when I still had P2103, a MK11 and the CAV mk1, I liked the looks of the MK1 better and that is why I kept it. Now, I miss the aggressive looks of the Mk11. Should have kept both.

    Guns, pros and cons!

there is nothing wrong with Mikes stand, it is how he chooses to live. Negative opinions on guns are fine, in fact I cannot argue against some points made by gun control advocates. However, the fact remains that we have the constitutional right to bear arms in the US and thank the Lord we do.
