VW W12 to Porsche G86.20 transaxle

VW W12 to Porsche G86.20 transaxle

I think that 1.5mm 2024-T3 aluminum would be a good choice for those stressed panels.

VW W12 to Porsche G86.20 transaxle

Now buy yourself a pneumatic/hydraulic rivet gun and about 1,000 AVEX or CherryMAX blind rivets,,, and a bunch of #30 twist drills. :)

FS USA Rear uprights & hubs for mid-engine car.

The only drawing that I have found is the one posted earlier. These were designed for a mid-engine GTU car by Joe Huffaker of Huffaker Racing in California. These are unused NOS. (new old stock). New Timken tapered roller bearings are included.

VW W12 to Porsche G86.20 transaxle

Regulations usually only concern safety. While that chassis may be perfectly fine as-is on the street, adding a stressed panel across the bottom would significantly increase its torsional stiffness. in fact, TUEV noted that "...they complain that the torsional stiffness in the rear is very...

Add to that, radios that have buttons and menus, sub menus and sub, sub menus. I prefer the two round know ones- on/off volume & tune. I once rented a Cadillac out of the Pittsburgh airport and it took until Morgantown to figure out how to turn on the air conditioner. Automotive controls are now...

This is new KOSO gauge that was sent with my slc

A long, long time ago I read a very good book on "Human Factors Engineering". I think it's called something else now, but it addressed how to present information to a human in a way that is unambiguous, easily readable, and quickly assimilated. The main points having to do with aircraft...

Need help with potential SLC purchase

Verily, thou dost speaketh truth. Add to that- people who vastly under rate the time and effort needed to build a kit, vastly over rate their experience and skill level, and underestimate the time it will require to complete the build. Slow or no progress quickly builds frustration and...
