    SPF Faux oil tank straps

Thanks for responding. Looking specifically for where the straps attach to the cowl, just below the windshield. In order to see you would need to remove the front end or it could be pulled forward a few inches to see. I appears your car is like mine with off set straps becase you have the...

Looking for pictures of a SPF with the tank straps that are straight, not the more current builds that have straps with the offsets. Specifically, photos of where the straps mount at the windshield. Thanks for any help.

    P2334's A/C Drain

Know this is an old thread, but pertinent to my issue. The A/C pan clear drain hose on my SPF appears to have had a cast in pan bung which has sheared off the pan, part of the bung still in the clear drain hose. Question is has anyone delt with this and can the AC unit be moved to repair without...

    Coil location MKII

Those hose clamps on the 240’s are not stock. They should be a solid metal clamp. Another question is, what’s the deal on clear filter? Looks like something off a 1950’s Buick straight six.

    Coil location MKII

I did notice different slot counts on the mount pictured. Dave, the mount you built has four, pictures posted in color have two. Four presents a more robust solution. Anyway, oil filled coils placed horizontial was standard, coil bolted to the intake manifold on early 221, 260 and 289 Ford...

    Original MKII 427 Crankcase ventilation

I found a good picture here, https://www.flickr.com/photos/kennyschabow/albums/72157623128486819 and attached picture. Have to figure out how to best vent the engine without a drysump salvage pump and no vents on the valve covers. Thanks

    Wheel ID

Here are some pic's. The sizes are cast into the back also, machining of the centers are slightly different, one has stainless sleeves lining the pin drive holes. One appears to be of a different alloy, not as magnesium tarnished as the other or as tarnished as some American magnesium's 5 spokes...

    Wheel ID

Came across a couple of magnesium wine glass wheels, 8 X15, same back spacing @ 4" +/-. One has GT40 cast into the front of the wheel, the other MKII along with the size on both, 8.000x15. Any info comments appreciated.

    MKII center spindle plugs

Was talking to Dennis Olthoff about these, as I had thought for ease of spinner install too. He said they were for a spindle nut retaining affair and were not used in may cases and eventually abandoned. But they do look cool!
