I think it's tension. It's only an issue above 6700rpm. The belt stays on below 6700rpm. It pops off when I took the run to 7200rpm. Somewhere in between 6700 and 7200 the belt comes off. Under normal circumstances it seems fine. For Clarity: I'm not using the RCR AC mount. My setup is...

Doing some clutch and drivability testing. Can't keep the AC belt on. I'm definitely pleased with the sound.

There is a silver SLC with a SBC race engine and 180 degree crossover headers. I believe a few members have heard it person. Every crossover header I've heard sound fantastic. It would be a lot of work to fit. Running a Porsche trans will give you a lot more space to make it happen.

It would be cool, except that motor is pretty big and heavy. Price is very steep.

The 3m Paint Defender or Rejex?

Are you guys 100% positive? It's barely been on the market. I know some other brands clear spray on solutions didn't work so well. If you're right, it's a big letdown.
