Great Cam, I just recieved the switch from Jon Haas and expecting the Tesla calipers within a week. Don’t think the RCR supplied parking brake setup will pass inspection here.

Next was fender vents. I started with the vent itself as a template and used a hacksaw to cut the vent holes. I didn`t cut all the way around, left 8 small (3-4mm) parts uncut just so the "lid"stayed in place. Then filled the holes and cutlines with clay/wax and taped the underside of the lid...

Finally got my fire supression system. It`s a water based system capable of decreasing the temperature by 1300F/700C in 10seconds. I chose manual activation. It consist of a detection loop, a plastic tube that melts at approx 330F/170C and then gives an alarm in the cockpit, then it`s up to you...

Cam, have you installed your Tesla parking brake calipers yet? If so, how wide spacer did it take to fit over the 30mm rotors? I mean spacer to widen the calipers.

Does anyone know where to get hold of a pair of new locks? Mine was delivered without. I have checked with Mazda here in Sweden, but they are like $700 for a pair.

    Hest shielding

I can confirm it’s a great product. I have used it for shielding around exhaust tubing and the cats. On a aluminium 2mm sheet I put two layers on, and when cats are almost glowing I can touch the alu sheet. Have about 10-15mm between cat and shielding.

    Rear springs

Yes, the pushrods are the exact same length. I started up adjusting the pushrods so they cleared the frame rails and to same length during the alignment. However, I didn’t have the body mounted at the time, so now with the added weight I’m running out of shock adjustment. Just wondering what...

    Rear springs

What are you Graziano/LS guys running for rear springs? As you can see I’m running 7HT850” and have to adjust them pretty much all the way up. I started with full droop and adjusted the pushrod just enough so it clears the chassi frame and went from there. The adjustment in the picture is for...

    Residual Valve Recommendations?

I’m using this one, no complaints. I remade my complete brake system with -3AN, got the idea from Stephan. https://www.tbmbrakes.com/product/residual-pressure-valves/

Today`s screwup. Having spent the last 3 days for final fitment of the doors and opening mechanism I was quite happy with the result. Perfect gap all around the door and the opening/closing worked great. So when closing the door the final time I hear something falling inside the door, sounded...

    S2's Build Thread

I don’t know what Bill thinks about hard 90 fittings, but it is the same flow as the pressure side and there the smallest line is -10. If you look down in the tank with engine running, it’s not that much oil flowing into the tank. I would be more concerned with a smaller more restrictive...

    S2's Build Thread

Scott, Speaking of drain, I was recently changing the oil in the engine. Having filled my 8qt tank with 8qt (I’m sure) I only got 6qt out. As it turns out the scavange filter and the -16 hoses together with thermostat, oil cooler and 2:nd oil filter contains at least 2qt. So next time I take...
