Yes, not sure what material yet but probably some type of closed cell foam insulation and/or wrap.

Kurt, you should have gotten a set of Foregatar center caps

    Mounting the Superlite emblems

Brian, I have seen one of Allan’s videos where he used them as center caps so I guess they would work. Kurt, When I purchased my car one emblem was included and I purchased a second. Planned to use one the nose and the other on the steering wheel. I recall they were available while supplies...

Kurt, regarding fitting the body. Johan’s build thread has some good pointers starting on post #49.

    Joel’s SL-C Build Thread

Time for the next update. This post focuses on the initial fabrication of the cooling tubes. In an earlier post I mocked up the cooling tubes out of PVC to get a sense for the layout and design. Here is a video on the process... I decided to follow in a number of other builders footsteps and...

Kurt H (hoffkm) SL-C build thread

Kurt, great progress. I am envious of how quickly you are putting your SLC together. With regard to the body, it goes on top of the chassis. The side skirts go below the chassis. The manual I think states differently, but just about every builder including Allan puts the body on top. I think it...

Placement of cooling tubes under front control arm

Hi Johan, I was thinking more about this setup. Am I correct in thinking you don’t want the EWP to run when the thermostat is closed? if so, do you have logic set up so it only runs when engine coolant temperature reaches the point where the thermostat opens and RPM is below 1800RPM?

    Radiator Bleed Setup Question

Thanks Hector, yes. I want to make this as simple to run and maintain as possible. I haven’t gotten that far yet, but based on my setup I think I’ll do the radiator bleed line, HCV bleed line, and thermostat bleed line all into the expansion tank. The LT4 does not have steam vents and based on...

    Condenser Orientation

Thanks Allan, appreciate the info. Looks like I’ll have to move the splitter support bar down a little bit to get enough clearance between that and the #8 fitting on the condenser.

    It run's !

Congrats Mahlon, not sure if your saw this. Kurtiss put together a nice guide on the graziano. Look at post #34 of his build thread and click on the link to the pdf.

    Condenser Orientation

I’m wondering if it is absolutely necessary to mount the condenser with the #8 hose on top. I’d prefer to mount it on the bottom and would like to know if that will create an issue. Thanks for the help. Joel

Restarting my SLC project in West Texas

Johan, you are 100% correct. The steering rod ends need to be under the front upright bracket. I have not set bump steer yet, but took some measurements a while back and there is no way to dial out bump steer if the rod end is on top.

Kurt H (hoffkm) SL-C build thread

Kurt, I like that idea of using aluminum tubing inside the foot-box for the A/C and heater lines. Do you see any issues with the heat thrown off by the #8 line if you went that way? I was reading that the gas in that line gets heated up by the compressor. I just ordered my bulkheads and...

    S2's Build Thread

Scott, as always, great design and write up I haven’t secured my pedals yet but have sat in the car a lot and feel this is where they will be installed. A - Extended foot-box B - 1.75” off the rail C - 14.5” My system can be moved +-2” from that position. Like you I am not confident I could...
