Tell everyone every week that you are surviving this COVID19. Just add your name to the list once a week and each of us will know if you are alive.

In Holland (central), both still free from Covid (we think, you never are sure). The jab will take atleast a few months before my wife and I get it, scheduled somewhere in May. Age 50+ As I am a truck driver delivering flour, yeast and so on to craftsman bakery's I have work enough. My wife...

Which engine oil to use for road/track day ?

As long as it has atleast 1000PPM percentage (I prefer atleast 1600ppm) zinc or ZDDP in the oil its fine. I must admit, I prefer 15W40 or 15W50 mineral blend. Had better oil pressures on a hot day racing ( Capri V8 & Capri 3.0) with 15W40 mineral compared to 10W40 semi syntetic (both Valvoline...

    Fuel pump discussion.

I bought all three at once from Rockauto, and all three differ in details. Two have a side decal, one don't, one has stamped "made in USA" the others don't. Just ordered a pair of Holley Red pumps now. Had me fighting the whole weekend. Both fuel tanks flow 40GPH/150literhr free flow measured...

Bad luck with the Carter P4600HP pumps. 3 brand new units, one does 8 psi, the other two barely 3psi on the same gauge. Have read the same review on the world wide web so they are out.

Looking for pictures of a full rollcage

So, as I said, wooden shoes, wooden head, wouldn't listen... Of gewoon in moers taal, jij red je wel. En aangezien je raced met een 325 dan weet je ook wie Rens Mali is.

Looking for pictures of a full rollcage

John, My point of view, What you are planning to build is not allowed to race at any class, So you are building it for public track days purpose only. That will be an expensive build for just a few track sessions at Zandvoort, Assen and the Spa open pitlane sessions. That 3,5 straight six...

Looking for pictures of a full rollcage

Getting in and out in a GT40 is not easy but in this case you have to be very flexible to climb in and out here. In case of an emergency I doubt you get out quick enough, otherwise I won´t think the emergency services will get you out quick enough also. Don´t forget, your fuel tanks are...

    What Alternator?

You'r talking dynamo with seperate rectifiers, from the 70's on they are all 3 fase rectifyers wich will work fine on street aplications. 60amp iss suffiecent enough. All my daily's ( I have 12) are 70's cars with alternators ranging from 45amp to 60amp. My F250 is converted to 70amp cause of it...

    Cartek GT Battery Isolator

Just got it wired up today. Now to find pull cables long enough, one to go to the dash & one to go in front of the windshield. Wife said (owner of the GT) this mechanical switch we have on stock, if we order a electrical one online it will delay the build. Old skool it is..

Neil, now you mention it, I have a few friends that do Rallying their Escort mk2 BDA and they once told me the same, Never on the side cause you might end up on your side... You never end up on your back or front so thats where the remote cable should be.....

    What Alternator?

Too much alternator will only rob horsepower. What you need can even a 60amp alternator handle with ease so a 95amp will be more then enough. 175amp, well if you have dvd sytems in the backseats and kids & their playstations on it.. big high end sound system.. otherwise don't bother. EPS...
