16 years with P2120 a MKII. The metal plate was removed during the build and replaced with plastic by Olthoff. No issues at all. Just another data point.

I was trying to say that I actually heard about it first on major US news feeds...no googling required. Then I googled "Plymouth UK" and it was all over the place. How the heck does one edit a post after submitting it?

The US has been operating many small nuke plants for years, decades actually. They are in ships and subs. I had the pleasure to work on them at Pearl Harbor. They have it down....

By any chance was this taken at that location? I am sending this tidbit to my wife as we have stayed at that hotel and didn't realize it's tie to our GT40.

Here is a photo of the first batch of GT40s that came through Olthoff's in early 2007. Mine is 2120 the blue and titanium striped MKII center left. Who else's are show here? Chime in please!

Hi Dave, I saw your post on my profile. I have 2120 from the first batch in 2006 IIRC. It is a MKII with Roush carb'd 427 and the new ZF....all done by Olthoff. I probably have about 3500 miles on it and most of that was a round trip from OR to So Cal with wife and dog documented on this site...

P2120 at Road America quite a few years back at the 45 anniversary GT40 meet (I think) 2008. It is hard to believe we have had it almost 15 years now. It was one of the first batch that Superformance made (for a very reasonable price back then).

I still have mine - some 14 years later! Glad they work for you.

Can this thread be ended please? There are literally thousands of sites on the interenet to "debate" about this. That is not what, I hope, this site is about. Already, two other enthusiast sites I used to like have degraded to the point of not being worth visiting. I personally do not care...

I can tell you that they weren't always this expensive. I think what they have done is to continue to find a market at a continually rising price. I bought in when they first started and got one of the first batch made. The price back then for the complete and painted roller was some $65k...
