After years of being frustrated by original after original GT40 not being able to accommodate his 6'3" frame, Ronnie Spain finally found an original that he fits in.

I inherited this B&W photo from an office mate who retired. He remembers very little of the occasion. He thinks the photo was taken at Las Vegas, so this could be at the Stardust GP. Time frame may be 1966. That's all I know.

Anyone know if #1073-B (or whatever the ~1968 rebuild of the original #1073 onto a new, original tub should be called) sold at the Bonhams auction in Monterey over the weekend? I haven't found any results of that auction posted yet.

Original Mk I race coupe #1048. These photos were taken when the car was in Washington state, prior to being sold to Coy's auction house in Europe for re-sale. This car has been verified as the original #1048, not the car constructed by Franco Sbarro that uses this chassis number.
