Turned it off and put it in reverse but when I cranked it with the clutch in ,it lurched rearward. The clutch was not disengaging. It has always been a...

My hard cast aluminum valve covers hit the valve train when trying to fit. Have any of you had this issue? Did you just grind the offending area or use adapters to raise them? This stuff is tough as hell and difficult to grind.

Is there a special pilot bushing that I need for my 347? A standard ford 302 bearing or bronze bushing does not have enough relief for the length of the input shaft on my ZF, the cogs on the shaft hit the face of the bushing.

    front clamshell question

I have never removed the front clamshell completely, but last night I popped the latches and raised it in the rear and slid it forward enough to check the brake fluid levels. When I slid it back and buttoned up the latches it seemed to have more play in the front than I remember. You can lift up...

    Ian's new shifter

I recently completed installing Ian's shifter kit for my CAV. I can highly recommend this upgrade. It does away with the sloppy Audi rubber bushings and imprecise shifter mechanism. It takes about two hours to install if the interior is already out of the car. If any of you decide to do this...
