    SLC seating position

Sorry, but I've been pondering this for the last 6 months and I have to ask: factoring in the mods to the centre tub wall, and the strengthening the required to the tub in other places, and the fact the tub isn't particularly wide, and the fact that anyone over age 6 probably couldn't be a...

    SL-C powerplant possibility?

I'd be curious to see what it would cost to DIY build a LS3 based 416" with a whipple giving 700ish at the rear wheels on pump gas all day long, in comparison to buying a crate LS9 and fiddling with it. Granted there's the dry sump issue but there's a reasonable budget for an LS if you're...

Version 2.2 of the SLC Build Manual now available

It would be really nice for those of us contemplating a build to be able to read through the manual to get an idea what it's all going to involve. Any chance the build manual could be available to a wider audience please? David

Additional flares on rear wheel arches

Cant find any mention but on some of the MkII at Daytona '67 they are running riveted flares over the rear wheel arches. Not all the MkII have this in the race, can someone please explain why some ran them and some didn't? David

    Good Exoto diecast sales lately...

The Sebring Mk II spyder windscreen seems way too upright form the photos. Has anyone got one?

Can I ask how many GT40 s are actually missing that could be bought back from the dead with a bunch of parts?

    What happened to P1031

Sorry, did a search but nothing on here. It was the #2 disq. car from Sebring. Last I can see is that it went to Japan mid 1970s? David

Historic Tech Passport and the MkII

With the SPF #2244 in a Holman Moody #5 paint job and the #1046 paint scheme being done for Chris Amon thats two out of three from the finish in '66 with FE power and RHD. Someone needs to do a FE RHD sillshift of #1016 next. Can I ask, the SPF Holman Moody car was asking around $120K but I...

Historic Tech Passport and the MkII

Thanks Rick, the only MKII I've seen around with an FE is #2244, the beautiful SPF that Holman had done some stuff to. Wonder if the owner is on here ever and how the car is going with the FE/ZFQ combination. Seems most everyone I read about go with the Windsor instead and hardly any RHD/RH shifter.

Historic Tech Passport and the MkII

If the Homologation papers in 1966 show the Gt40 homologation with the small block in it how would one get the MKII an Historic Technical Passport? Which brings me to my next question, if the class the MKII ran in at Le Mans when the Kiwis inadvertently won didn't have a maximum cc rating then...

    Any SPF GT40 Roadsters yet

Ok thanks, was looking at the exoto roadster model and wondering why there aren't more actual roadster GT40s running around.

    Any SPF GT40 Roadsters yet

I remember reading an article on upcoming versions a few years ago and SPF mentioned a MK II roadster. Have they made any yet? David

    Coyote Motor fit in a S GT40PF

Oops, should say SPF GT40. Seems to be smaller than the modular 5.4 but bigger than a smallblock, so any ideas if it will fit?

"To FE or not to FE...

Have to ask this. To my untrained ear an FE 427 sounds completely different from a SBF stroked to 427. No sure why the sound it makes isn't relevant in this discussion. Or am I imagining things?

    SL-C vs FFR GTM Supercar

I was thinking there was enough room behind the seats and around the engine to put a rollbar in. I could take the line that the top of the door follows around and up to fit in with an engine cover and roll protection. Not sure about the shape the bodywork would take now that the windscreen has...
