    GTD fuse box location

Actually I have the alternator wire running directly to the starter/battery terminal, so no fuse on that one. Just the other 4 to the fuse block.

    GTD fuse box location

My car had 5 wires running off the starter terminal, so I just mounted a fuse block close beside it, and fused all 5 wires individually. 25amp, because I have no idea where they all go. I should be able to locate the alternator lead though and fuse appropriately. But at least there is some...

    GTD fuse box location

I have an early '90s? GTD GT40, and for the life of me, I cannot find a fuse holder. I have searched on this sight (normally under the passenger side dash?), and have been looking under the dash, and everywhere else. It is a LH drive car serial# 09890. Can anyone help? I've owned it for...

    P4 with Maserati V-8?

The first photo is my P4 with 295/50VR15 Avons on the rear and 225/65VR15 on the front. The fronts didn't fill the wheel openings very well so I replaced them with the 245/60VR15 Avons. I think they looked much better.

    GPS speedometer

I put their speedometer in last fall. It takes less than a minute (maybe 30 seconds) to find the satellite. I pull out of the garage to warm up so it's never a problem. It's flat here, so I can't help with the mountain question.

    RCR P4 drive video

This is a Sunday morning shake down drive of my P4 replica. It sounds great, although with straight open headers, I can't sneak out of my neighborhood. YouTube - RCR P4 replica test drive Jim

    My P4 in daylight

Chuck, The fan you see on the starboard side pulls air through the oil cooler, and blows on the exhaust headers. I do have a fan on the port side that you can't see in the photo. They seem to do the job, but I haven't driven real hard yet.

    My P4 in daylight

Here is a photo of the shield I had made. It just needed something, so I drew up this design and had it made. I hope Fran is ok with it. Not sure how the Marenello boys would feel about this either, but it is Ferrari powered, and the chassis is all RCR.

    My P4 in daylight

It's been a while since the RCR P4 saw some sun. Unfortunately I still didn't have time to sneak it on the back roads and stretch it's legs, but I did take some new pictures. Jim

    Jag XJ13

I've always loved the XJ13. Here is a project I was working on before my RCR P4 arrived. I had to push it asside until the new car is done. I had the jag v12 for 10 years waiting for something to put it in, and finally came up with the "C" type. You can find these engines everywhere, but the...

    RCR P4 progress

Jim - it's the early carburated 400 engine on a 930 transaxle. I've heard of a place that will tweek the cams and do a few other mods, but I'm not sure I need it, and besides, I'd like it to stay together. The're tough engines, but also expensive to repair. Any way, I don't think it would help...

    RCR P4 progress

Randy, that would be a blast. Just don't take too many pictures of you lapping me! I'm quite a bit more timid on the track than you. Jim

    RCR P4 progress

I just thought I'd make a few comments on my P4 build with the Ferrari V12. I can start a build thread to post pictures of my progress, and go into more detail, but I want to say some (unsolicited) words about Fran and his crew. This build was to be as close to turn-key as reasonable with an...

    Engine Bay Heat

Ian, if they do move more air, I wonder if part of that tube would fit down in my existing access hole. I could trim the top, and angle it to direct the air flow. I'll have to see if there is a way to mount them to the rear clip as an alternative, as you say. That might also work. Jim

    Engine Bay Heat

Thanks for the feedback. I got these fans on ebay. 250 Quad Go Cart Pit Bike Electric Radiator Cooling Fan : eBay Motors (item 280464376012 end time Mar-13-10 16:28:46 PST) I'm making a shroud for them now. I was planning on using them only when stoped or after shut-down. That's where the...

    Engine Bay Heat

I am having concerns with the possible heat build-up in my RCR P4 when stoping / shutting off the engine after a hard run. Not having really driven it much yet, I'm imagining my carbs boiling over. I usually try to open the hood on my GTD after a hard run, but can't always do that. Fran made a...

    RCR P4 Start up

Thanks for the comments. 99% of the credit belongs to Fran and his crew. What a job! Every little step had to be a new challange - It's an awful big engine. The detail of their work really shows the pride. I've been doing a lot of wiring & plumbing. It hasn't turned a wheel yet - but soon...

    RCR P4 Start up

    P4 Lights

Sorry, but mine are mounted directly onto the vertical panel surface. The turn signal is mounted horizontally. I have a photo of Jim's 330 P4 form "The Quail" a few years ago, and his has more of a bulb shaped protrusion. Jim K

    P4 Lights

Arnie, I'll take a picture of my RCR P4 tonight, but I don't remember the lower lamp looking like that. Jim
