thanks Ian, I'll mail Chris Rambo, I hadn't thought about using a Chevy bellhousing and putting a plate between it and the Renault box, this would simplify things no-end, I'll have to look into this. Do you have any pics of your install? thanks

Ok, are you seeing an image at all? if not, the code on the engine is 9M23 with DOAE-J above it, the cylindre head is cast with 9M30 The engine is a 351 cleveland from a 74 Mustang (I was told possibly a mach 1) and I don't know if the heads are machined or not. I'm trying to figure out what...

Could someone tell me which model of Cleveland these casting number refer to? many thanks PS that's 9m30 on the cylindre head

thanks for the info, I didn't realize the windsor and clevelands shared the same bellhousing bolt pattern, so does this mean I can use my Renault bellhousing, an adaptor plate (home made) and a transit or V6 clutch on a modified input shaft?

Those do look great, but I bet theres a tonne of work in them, do you have build up shots, or even a "shopping list"of parts! It would be a buzz having a set of headers like that on the project. How do they sound?
